Level Designers Required....

...to work on Utopian's next hit (fingers crossed).

If you have experience in level design or a passion for games and have time to make some levels we would love to hear from you.

I have added notes and will be available on skype... utopiangames if you get stuck or have any input/ideas.

We require 100 + levels from up to 5 designers, i will also be designing levels and adding in new elements to keep it fresh.

Whats in it for you?

Working along side me my artist and musician you will see the game through from the early stage to completion.

Full source code of the project (minus art and music) to use as you wish.

Free copy of the final game. (goes without saying)

If it does well i will be paying a cash bonus or 3.

Game will be developed for iphone/4 and iPad side by side.

    That looks great. I'm rather useless at level design so I can't offer my help.

    I imagined the gameplay to be a bit faster but it still looks like an amazing game, hope you find some great level designers.

    What is the deadline for getting the levels back to you? How many levels are you looking to get from each person?

    If i get 1 excellent level from 1 person that will do me :) but i'd like 5-20 from each designer.

    No real deadline tbh but i'm working on it full time so i'm aiming at finishing in a month tops.

    Gameplay speed will increase the later the levels...it's set to slow/med atm. (designers can change that for there own levels).

    Do you have size and/or difficulty constraints that you'd like each designer to follow (i.e. make one short, easy level followed by one medium, longer difficulty level, etc.). Or are you going to see what comes out of the first batch of levels, put them through playtesting, compile testing results and order them at that time?

    I'm guessing that we would need to avoid modifying/adding to the actor logic? Like, you wouldn't want anyone adding a gravity reversal trigger or anything...

    New game play ideas are welcome m8 as long as i can modify my master easy and send out new elements to designers.

    We need to add a few more elements over the next day or 2 but there's enough in the project to make levels.

    I just transfered what i have so far over to iPad if you'd rather work on iPad that's also an option.

    I have an idea. You should put a slash screen of every Developer that help on the game that should only take 10-20 to get you game loaded. LOL

    But Seriously, I am interested in helping though. I'll email you.
