acces code

Hi.
I would like to make my app free for people with a special acces code... can this be done? so you recieve a code and then you can download my app from appstore for free for a limited time.

any suggestions? or maybe other similar wyas of doing it.,

    You can do this with promo codes. You only get 50 per update though.

    Edit: I believe you can get more if you talk to Apple and your giving them away as prizes.

    so can you get the codes the first time you publish an app? or do you only get them when you update?

    and how does it work? i have never seen a place on appstore where you can type in a code and get a free app.

    remember its USA accounts only.

    login to itunes connect and click on the 'request promo codes' button and go from there.

    ??? i live in denmark.. i guess i would get danish codes, right?

    You get 50 when it goes on the store and another 50 for each update. (They don't stack though).

    To redeem your code.... Hit featured.. Scroll down to the bottom. Hit Redeem. Enter Code. Done!

    No, you only get US codes. (They can only be redeemed with US accounts)

    No the codes are valid for US iTunes accounts only, but you can open a US account up if you are outside the US, just google it to learn more.
