    Is this someone from Apple?

I'm guessing so as he said "review" not approved - it wouldn't be approved in only a few days.

I've heard of someone here, I forget who, having Apple contact them as "poo" or something was in the app title. I wouldn't stress; just talk to them - if there's a problem they'll tell you what it is and then you can fix it :) Nothing to be scared of, don't worry.

Heh... Steve Rea... when I get an email from him I'm like, "What's his problem now?!" He never had any good news for me. I almost quit Apple development because of him.

It's probably something tedious, try to fix it and remember they review 15,000 apps a week at Apple.

Yes...see what he says and then tell us and we can perhaps help you "interpret" the issues (if any).

    Thanks Lu.

    Photics - don't scare him! (I assume you're a him - sorry if not.)

Simply get in touch with the guy; he'll tell you what the issue is - you fix it - done.

It isn't good news as Photics said, but it's nothing terrible either - at worst it's just going to be an inconvenience.

Please let us know in the end what it is; I try to make mental notes about this sort of thing for future reference :)

I'm not trying to scare anyone. Knowing what you're up against can better prepare you. If you get an email from Steve Rea, it means that your app is probably borderline. It's not likely good news. It might be a warning or something you have to fix. I think "tedious" is the right word, because you don't have to jump through these hoops on the Android side of mobile development.

It is a good learning experience. Once you realize what Apple gets fussy about, you can get through the approve process with far less problems. After a year of developing iOS Apps, I don't really miss Android. Although, if Gendai Games added better cross-platform support, I'd get some easy money with the Android Market.

    .... It was a joke. ^-^;

What about the fact that I'm only 13 is there a problem ? Legally ?
  • peachpellenpeachpellen Member Posts: 977
ANOTHER 13 year old? There's a few of you around here - lol.

I'm not sure about the legalities of all that; hopefully another 13 year old here can tell you.

This way or that way Lu_merlin...

Just stay away from the Zombie Hunter :D

    Joking...

For the issue... I wouldn't get so pessimistic about it.. For the worst case scenario, you change the app and send it back..

    Winner!

On a side note, you should ask one of the moderators to change the title of this thread, I know there are other's who have had dealing with in review issues, but the title of this thread doesn't really say that's what the issue is. Sounds like a thread about app reviews, like on the app store or a review site. IMO.

I thought the 13 year old thing and the copyright thing were two different concerns; is your concern that part of your app may infringe on copyright? I've got some knowledge in that area. I just can't help you if you're not sure about working with Apple at 13 - as I don't know how that works legally with signing contracts and the like. :)
