Hi guys,
I see many of you own a website, or at least used to.
Which Web Hosting service did you use and how much did it cost?
Which would you recommend?

Yesterday, I found this site for my grandson...

    Absolutely Free and NO Ads
    000WebHost.com
(oh you can add your own ads ;)
your own domain name...($) or use free sub-domain name to start with.

    thought it looked highly professional.
didn't √ out the editor...but templates looked good.

IMO if you are new to web...try out a free hosting till you get some experience.
000.WebHost.com -- pay hosting is reasonable price...and good package of features.

    Me too! @tshirtbooth...great price!

    ...think the free one is nice if you are just starting out...or have zero/little funds;
and, need a support site for Apple; or really new to site-management.

There's a link to Hostrocket at the bottom of my website... http://photics.com

They're awesome at web hosting. They have great tech support and the service is pretty reliable. My site has been hit with some pretty heavy traffic too... 700 visitors in a 15 minute span. They're a low-stress web host... meaning that I don't have to worry about my website as much as I used to. I've tried a bunch of hosting companies, but there's no need to look after I switched to Hostrocket.

Have you tried GoDaddy? If so, how was it?

Thanks for the reply TSB and MH
    Anyone else?

GoDaddy is what I'd recommend - I've got 10 odd sites with them currently. :)

Another vote for godaddy. I ended up going with a custom wordpress template (still haven't finished the site though http://www.100proofsoftware.com )
