Well I just started on my second game I know I haven't even sent the first one for review but I figure I get started on my next project. I honestly don't even know what it's going to be I have been doing some options screen images and buttons but nothing on the actual game yet I kind of hit a dead end while I wait for Ian to return. Hopefully when he gets back I will be able to come up with something after seeing his works of art, yes I kind of wait for my art then move on to ideas weird but thats how I do things. Do any of you have ideas you can toss this way?

A girl in the park said to me "a game about a space dog with magic powers to knock pies off of tables"

So I'm gonna do that next :)

Sounds fun can't wait. Lol "girl in the park" is that where you go for inspiration? Its too late right now for me to go to the park so I'm searching the net and watching 10,000 b.c. trying to get some ideas.

Maybe this is exactly what you need to do. Dark, frightful, dimly lit walkways, sleeping homeless, used well you get the picture!!!

Honestly I find inspiration in everything. I know that's kind of a
"blanket" statement but in my mind, everything could be a game. What do you like to do?? Make it into a game (hope I'm making sense).

Or find out what makes you happy when making your game or playing a game and try to implement that in your titles. I have the opposite problem... I have a TON of ideas, just have a hard time figuring the programming aspect. Hope this helps.

Spot on. Everything *should* inspire you. From a story you saw on the news, a game you played, a movie, a book, some music to just watching people interact.

I do not get people saying 'I'm out of ideas'

    QS :D

True, ideas are abundant, it's execution of those ideas that's most important :)
