Beware Apple approvals

Ok Fellow GS brothers and sisters. I two weeks ago submitted an app, and it seems like it was 2 years ago. On monday got a notice that the app was in review, after 6 apps I dont hoop and holler, just go ok what will be wrong now.
Today I got a notice that said, the review was done, but they could not publish the app because we made it a LE version and showed 40 levels of play but only offered 10 for free, and that if you like the game buy the full version. I had seen this done with Angry Birds, a number one seller. So I thought nothing of it.
I was directed to item 2.9 in the approval guidelines which states you can NOT make an app that says beta, demo trial or test. None of these words were used, duh. But because we did not have IN APP purchase it looked like we were selling a more enhanced version besides the free one. Double Duh, ok so Apple has its rulings just like GS does and so you roll with the punches. I am happy to report because I use GS the changes to the game were fast and easy, thank heaven for that, or GS for that. I had the game with the offending issues removed and reset the game, did the upload to GS server and all is well.
If you are making a game that is FREE With the intention of offering another version better, etc dont make any reference to the better version, its not cool, according to apple.
Another interesting thing was item 2.10 which states that what you submit must work on Ipad, Itouch and Iphone and run in the 2X world on the Ipad if it does not it will be rejected.
I got a game called Cannon Cadet, interesting game, kind of, I dont like it, boring but that is not the point, I put it on my Ipad and it did NOT run, in 2X it just barfed all over the place.
Every game I have made with GS has worked fine on all the devices score another one for GS.
I have asked for special consideration based on a email I got from Apple that says, hey we are working hard and have made some changes so approvals are faster etc etc. just so everyone know, I am not trashing apple in anyway, but the email that states they are doing better is not true, this approval time took twice as long to get through only to be rejected for item 2.9 which in my lexicon of words we did NOT fall within.
So, be warned GSers. Those huge docs that we get are lengthy and full of a lot of interesting stuff that even if you read it, you might be wrong in your assumptions of what they say.
Well I will keep you informed as to what happens, I am sure that Apple is doing the best they can, and I guess I am going to shut the hell up about GS being slow to release a new version, I fixed my problem in 2 hours, imagine that with XCODE.....hahahaha.
However it would be nice to have inapp purchase.....:)p
