Keeping items static on a moving screen?

How do you keep all of your lives, status bars etc, in the same place static on screen if I have a moving scene that starts to the right and moves left!

I had to set the large scene and drag the camera over to the far right to start.

Nothing stays where I put it! It either stays in the scene until the camera moves out of shot, or falls off the bottom....

I'm sure this is simple and I'm just not thinking properly!

Put the items you don't want to move on a new layer (on the scene tab above attributes and stuff) and untick the scrollable box

    Hope this helps

Falls off the bottom? I'm assuming that you have gravity on? In the actors just un-tick movable. As for the HUD, doing what mynameisace said should work.

I presumed that it needs to be moveable to follow the screen moving along?

Is this wrong then... Does it need to follow the camera and be non moveable?

So if items are non moveable on the different layer, does this mean that they cannot be set to have a movement I.e a clock hand moving over time, while the scene is moving or is there a way around this?

Didn't you have another thread for the same problem? Moveable must be unticked if you're using scene gravity, otherwise it will fall of the screen. Scrollable needs to be unticked in the scene layer too. You're best off making a separate layer for all your static images. As for the clock hand thing, use interpolate as it will still work regardless of whether the actor is moveable or not :)
