How to edit the scene layer name?

Scratched head. I want to rename the layer name but could't find way to edit.
Appreciate if someone could give a direction.

    Not sure if this is it, but what I normally do is to "tap and wait" or "tap and hover" on the name... something like that? It doesn't always kick in, I think.

    Click to highlight the layer name.... pause (for 1/2 a second)... click again.
