locking phone to portrait mode

Did some searching around but couldn't find the answer to what I assume is a pretty basic question: how do I set up an iPhone project to exclusively use portrait or landscape mode? The way my game is currently designed it's a disaster if someone changes the orientation.

Locking it is on a pre scene basis. Go into your scene:

Hit the SCENE tab next to the GAME TAB
then below it there is a LAYERS AND ATTRIBUTES bar, select ATTRIBUTES
Scroll down in the inspector window and find AUTOROTATE and open it up by touching the ARROW and you will see all of the supported rotations. just click on the ones you want to support.

Also, when you are uploading your app to Gamesalad, make sure to open the advanced tab and look for the different supported rotations and choose the one you want to lock.
