Thanks to Stryker and SciTunes for helping me figure out how to display images. I think making the game was easier?
So I finally had a few days off and made my first iPad app. (iPhone version out soon too.) Based it on a lunar lander game my son likes. I tried to stick with a retro look, simple design, but hard gameplay. The basic idea is to land on both landing pads to advance to the next level. There are "time stars" that randomly float around that adds time if you hit one and a gas dock to add fuel. Land too fast or hit the walls...KA-BOOM. It takes skill, patience and a bit of luck to get through all of the levels. Here are some screenshots. Please let me know what your thoughts are! Thanks!

For me, this is one of the few cartoon art games I've seen posted in the forums that has a great sense of style. It just looks great. Can't tell if the roughness on the large saucers is a sketch line, or jaggedness from enlarging the art a bit too much, but I might suggest going with a sharp line instead of the sketch look only because the doodle thing has been way over done. I also wonder if the main opening screen might have more color, only because it is the main opening screen (just saying you might consider it). Otherwise, really really well done, IMO. I can hear the ship sound effects from The Jetsons playing while looking at these screenshots...

Thanks guys! I hope it gets through approval quick!

@ netdzyner. Yeah its sketch. Not sure I want to lose my place in line to smooth that out? But I agree with you that it would look better smooth.

Sorry for the slow response time. Drive 3+ hours a day and work 10. Leaves just enough time to s.s.s. and cruise the forum for a spell.
