Revenue from web games

I've just finished my first full game and was wondering if there's a way to make money from web games instead of apps? I'm still in school and don't have the means of getting the $198 needed to start selling apps but would like to start doing it full time. I've made a web site and i'm planning on making custom graphics for dirt cheap but is there another way i could earn the funds needed for a express account?

My site: http://buad.weebly.com

My game: http://gamesalad.com/game/play/83454

I realize this style of game has probably been made over and over but I only spent a few hours and I had a lot of fun. I would appreciate any pointers or suggestions.

Thanks,

_BUAD

    There are a few sites out there you can post your web game on...one called something "Fish"? But I don't believe there's much to be made compared to on the App Store. Of course you can post it on your own site with a Paypal button or something.

    Some of the other guys probably have some experience with this.

    I don't really need to make much, just enough to start selling games on the app store. I'll try the paypal idea but i'd be surprised if someone donated just to help me get my company going. =/

    If you remember the name of the "fish" site, I'd be interested to check it out.

    Thanks for the ideas.

    I think that you are better of washing cars or getting a mini part time or even helping old ladies getting their cats of the trees. With the web thing you are traveling to the unknown. To much things to do to see if it even go somewhere. I think that if you want just to get the 198.00 needed to start, its quicker and more for sure if you get a part time or do some quick jobs here and there.

    @Shizane Thanks for the link!

    @LordTarantor I live in a pretty remote part of Canada thats why I had to turn to the internet. There are only a handful of local business and finding a job is impossible. I thought that using the web would allow me to get paid without relying on the local economy.

    Does the GS community ever hire each other to help with developing apps and such? I have experience with GS development and graphic design, so that would probably be my best bet... even if I have to charge dirt cheap to outbid the competition.

    I'm on the outskirts of Calgary, AB. But once I start getting a steady income (no matter how small it is) i'll be moving to PEI.

    I lived in Calgary for a year, about 3 years ago right on the "Red Mile".

    PEI is beautiful of course, my GF's Aunt owns a Beach Cottage there. Got Fam there?

    Cool, all my family live in Calgary and BC. I'd be moving to PEI just because of how beautiful it is, the housing is also very affordable so it's perfect for a app development team to set up base.
