Dumb Resolution Independece Question

Sry Folks, I search it and didn´t Find it, at least quick.
For Using Resolution Independece, What should I Do?
Make My game in 960 and 640?
Or I Make it 480 and 320 but using image twos size?

Btw, Of Course I Know i Have to Check Resolution Independence.

from what I understand, design your graphics twice their normal size, so a background would be 960x640. When you import those images into GS, it will automatically create a downres'd version for the iPhone 3Gs.

Design your game as normal, for a 480x320 screen. When displayed on the iPhone4, it will automatically double everything and use the high res graphics.

Just make sure all your graphics are even numbers, as well as their positions on screen.
