edited November -1 in Working with GS (Mac)
After a long late night, a day at work and now a evening session of battling xcode,gs and the viewer, app id's its FINALLY working for me.. i can actually see my game on my phone through the gs viewer.. simply awesome!! i feel like ive cleared a big hump!

thanks to those who pointed me in the right direction

so now im getting performance feedback on my game hopefully some one can tell me if my results are good or bad :-)

FPS 60 in idle and during play

Images 7.5 mb (seems big to me)
sounds 512kb (only have one)
Game Engine 6.8 mb (is that normal?)
Other 7.8 mb (whats other?)
total 22.6 mb

so i really only have three easy test levels right now so it seems big to me.. but maybe its not??

cheers!

Congrats :) Very happy for you - it's great when things finally work after so much effort.

@Basseman - I believe that is memory usage and not game size that you're referring to.

The viewer gives you RAM not file size. the 22mb has nothing to do with file size. The oldest iphones and itouches can only go to around 40mb or so for RAM where as newer devices can go higher than that. If a game hits the peak ram for the device that is running it, the app will crash.
