Interpolate on pinball

Hello!

I am using the interpolate behavior to rotate an actor. This actor acts like a collison for the flippers but it dont has enough energy to repel another actor. I would like to know how do I add more energy to repel the actor. The video below explains better.

Thanks!

Firstly, your vid isn't working :(

Secondly, I was under the general impression that interpolate does not register collisions - you may be better of with an animation instead, or a move/rotate behaviour.

    Hope that helps,

    QS :D

The video doesn't explain anything, "the video you have requested is not available". If I understand you correctly, you will need to change the densities or the ball and the flippers. Give the ball a low density and the flippers a higher density.

yeah, the youtube link is dead. As quantumsheep suggested I`m using a rotate to angle behavior and everything is fine now. The collision works using interpolate but cannot put enough energy to send an actor back in another direction without high bounce. The density of the ball was 1 and the flippers 300 and still could not do the trick as RH suggested.

    Anyway, thanks for your help!

You might try a collision rule so that the ball moves in the opposite direction when it collides with the flipper.
