Suddenly, my iPod stopped connecting to GS, and now when i go to compile the GS viewer code, it tells me no provisioned iOS device is connect. I didn't update anything! Anyway, i have xCode 3.2.3, and it says my iPod is running 4.1 and is not compatible with 3.2.3 so now i'm downloading 3.2.4. Is GS ok with 3.2.4?
I had ZERO problems running GS on my Hackintosh, i go get a brand new mini and nothing but problems. i can't even submit an app to the app store. I've gone through the wiki a hundred times!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The latest and greatest non-beta iOS SDK and XCode archive is Xcode 3.2.4 and iOS 4.1. Anything later is a beta, anything earlier may have bugs fixed in the supported version.

As for the "I didn't update anything" part of your problem, who knows...lots of things interact with the system keychain, something may have happened due to your usage of a misbehaving program. If you install Xcode 3.2.4 and still have problems, check Keychain Access.app for problems with your developer identity. There are some threads posted here on the forums that deal with signing issues, more than likely one can shed some light on your individual problem. :)

I had this same problem all today.. and have yet to get it fixed. I assumed it had something to do with GS, seeing as something in the process queries their servers.

Sadly, since I, and every other GS user was left in the dark, I updated to the latest xcode version and iOS 4.2, hoping that might fix it. Since I'm now unable to work, I sure hope an update comes out soon...............

I installed the 3.2.4 SDK, but now xCode says my base SDK is missing!!! How does that get fixed???

Hit the info button up top, next to "string matching". At the bottom of the 'General' tab is a Base SDK for all Configurations" choose iOS Device 4.1

Sweet. Ok that fixed that problem. I can build GS viewer and run in simulator no problem. I can build and install on iPod no problem. But still having a problem where GS creator doesn't see the ipod???

yeah.. i can't get it to see any of my devices right now. It was working all week too..

I either get the "No provisioned iOS device it connected" or I get the GS logo to appear on the device but no icon in GS (next to the play button) to send it too the device.

    I'm annoyed.

    Edit:
I have reinstalled the latest version of XCode, as listed in this thread, and my devices are at 4.1.

Yeah, i just got the new ipod touch 4 and its running 4.1, so i also have to install 3.2.3 and ios4.1. Im doing it right now actually. I had to clean up everything because I only had 3GB left on my comp, but now i have 20GB :) Will get an imac with 1TB soon, so excited!

Anyways, AkioAkemi and daverenner, in order for the device icon to appear in GS, you have to be using the same wifi network on both your iphone/ipod device and your computer. Are you doing that?
