Problem updating images

I drop an updated version of an image onto the actor and it asks if I'd like to replace it and I say yes and the image briefly changes to the new one, but once I run the game it resets to the original image. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround?

Thanks for any help.

You aren't being totally clear in what you're doing. Can you give a detailed step by step of the process? The way you are talking it sounds like you're just dragging the image straight onto the actor from your desktop/folder and not actually importing it - but I can't tell.

I drag and drop the updated image into the Image Box, the one directly above the Attributes Box, since the image is named the same as the previous image a popup asks me if I'd lke to skip, replace or rename. I select replace and the original image is updated... briefly. Once I run my game and go back into the editor the updated image is gone and the original image is back.

Have you saved project after you imported new image? (I would save and restart or saveAs new name.)

also right click on project in Finder >> Show Package Contents.../Images and see what image is in the project.

note that images as scene icon...stay even if removed from project...you can delete them in contents: screenshots folder.

Beyond saving it - you may also need to go to the images tab (the one where you dragged and clicked "yes" to replace) and then drag the new image from there onto your actor.

Give both that and saving a try - let us know if that fixes the issue :)

Thanks a lot for the help guys. Once I updated the image I dropped the actor into the scene and that worked. It was a bit of a dilemma though because the actors are actually being spawned so I needed to drop the actor into the scene then delete it. But that worked!

    Thanks again, guys!
