Boolean troubles

I feel really silly because booleans seem to whip me good. When I'm trying to change it, there's no pulldown for "true" or "false". I thought I wasn't supposed to manually type rules in the field... Do I need to use 1 for true and 0 for false or type out the words?

1 and 0 work but I just type out true and false in the expression editor. There should be a pulldown list for true and false then using a behaviour, such as change attribute.

also...@forklift in an actor's attributes >Graphics, visible boolean is set to true (leave it checked) it can't be changed during runtime....you change visibility with the self.Color.Alpha.

when newbie...this was a big hassle for me...as I was used to changing the visible of objects.

Booleans are the one time I can think of that you CAN manually type in "true" or "false" - it's always worked fine for me. I was confused originally too, though. :)

I always type "1" or "0". Never had a problem with it. but you can not do math with them. ie 1-1≠false
