Hey guys,

I started using GS last week and have never made a game before so still getting to grips with GS and Photoshop.

It's taken me a day to do today and was just wondering if the gameplay is good enough to submit to Apple?

Here it is:

I am going to add a start screen and a Game Over screen, but just wondered if it was worth publishing it or just using it as a 'get to grips with GS' project?

Thanks for the input

cute, but the screen goes black when you get one wrong.

it needs an intro to better explain the psychological aspect of the game. I expect without some explanation most people will play your game and think it's broken because the words don't match the colors.

You are asking people to think, be REALLY clear about that. A lot of people prefer not to think.

Aii, I have the instructions, start screen and game over in photoshop now, just finishing them off, just wanted to know if the gameplay was okay. I'm also going to make the words swap around after each speed boost increases I reckon.

    Thanks for the comment (Y)

    Getting there Ace!

think the barn and clouds moving is too much...think only the trees should move (and, sheep when jumps)...background is too flat for things to be racing across...but flat backs are okay!

think if the controls are at the top of the screen (except for main/menu) your hand(s) cover the play area...please put them at the bottom...

like the idea and if words swap it will make it more interesting... too early to vote...

know you are going to have some good music for us!

Haha the music and sound effects are coming once the gameplay's finished ;)

I never even thought about the controls being at the top obstructing the view with hands lol - Once I think I'm starting to learn, something simple always comes and bites me up the arse heheh.

I'll move them, add the screens then re-upload it at see what you think then.

It's 3:40am over here now so bed is probably the best place for me (I always seem to set aside an hour for GS and am still on it 7 hours later lol)

    Cheers

You should at least have the colour names line up with the proper boxes for the first round. People will probably clue in once they see them switch. And I think the game over screen is broken, it never takes you back to the menu...

it probably won't sell a ton but whats the harm of throwing it up on the app store?
