Gravity while moving

Hi.
In the project I'm currently working on I have the actor moving and being affected by gravity, yet when I go off a clif or something if i have the move button still held down the actor keeps moving and gravity doesnt kick in till I let go of the button. how do I make it so gravity is pushing the actor down even while hes moving?

If you are using the "Move" function. I think you would change the "Move Type" to "Stacked" instead of "Additive".
