Hey All!

I have just started working on my marketing campaign for my latest game, The Secret of Grisly Manor. Sending out press releases, interviews, and submitting the game to as many review sites as I can.

I am very excited to say that the game has just been reviewed on one of the larger iPhone review sites: 148Apps.com

Hopefully that will give it a boost!

In its first two days, the game has done really well just on its own. When an app gets up high in the store, climbing up even just one more rank is like pushing up through a ton of bricks!

Hopefully I can keep the game moving upwards!

    Thanks, guys!

    @BackUpAndDown: Well, the game's only been out for two days so far...but it has made a little over 2,500$

    Yes, just got featured in N&N under the Hot New Games section on the iPhone! So excited!

    @JamesLewis: Yes, I did all the artwork and programming for the game. I would say that the game took about 4 weeks full time to complete. I have been working on the game for three months though, but I got married during that time, and a honeymoon, and another vacation, etc. Plus I have a full time job. So I would work on the game during nights and weekends.

    I've spent 1 month on an abc app?! Made it far too complicated. Too many bells and whistles. But have learnt so much...

    Had my daughter play the iPhone version this evening and she preferred the v BASIC competitor apps. Kids can be harsh critics!

    I noted your comments on actor numbers etc. Great economy. Something I must take on board. I have insane numbers of actors, 120 odd sound effects, so many full screen iPad scale illustrations. My head hurts thinking about it! Must scale things back...

    You're obviously a talented artist. To complete both the artwork and programming in a month is incredible.

    Right, back to bloody abc hell!
