Hi again!

I'm trying to write the "%" character with "Display Text" behavior but it says "Invalid Bla Bla". It takes it as a function (Modular arithmetic) and thinks it is invalid. What to do?

Thanks!

    game.Attribute.."%"

    For more details, see The Unofficial GameSalad Textbook. The explanation of the Display Text behavior is excellent.

    Well, I figured it out..

    I created a "Self Attr." on the actor and choosed "Text" as the type. And than changed the name to "Percent" the value to "%". Then;

    Display text --> Self.Attr.Percent

    And it does work. Hope it helps someone..

    The textbook way is easier and more efficient. You don't need to create an extra attribute just for a percent sign.

    Sorry, I didn't see your post while posting..

    And anyone who read your book highly recommends it, which means you are right :D

    I was thinking of getting it. (Another PayPal fan here.. LOL..) And I WILL get my hands on it as soon as the foggy weather dissapears here on GS..
