What do you use to make your website? I want something simple and easy to use but also good quality.

Depends on what you're going for. Mine is super basic and I use Wordpress... perfect for my needs ;-)

And yes, I will be giving it an overhaul at some stage (currently using a standard template). Wordpress is very cool and super easy to use but definitely more suited to magazine style and blog sites...

For the actual website itself I used Dreamweaver. For all of the graphics I used a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator.

Web/Digital/Print Design by day, Game making by night. Heck, I could be Batman! LOL :P

Dreamweaver here as well. I'm a noob at this so from time to time I ask a friend for help.
Also I found CSS Edit for mac a live saving tool, live preview is great!

Plus this website was quite helpful: http://jqueryfordesigners.com/

Maybe you want to take a look on Apple's iWeb? I've never used it, but it should be super simple.

    I tried iWeb...
It was quite simple but I cannot recommend it...
Maybe I'd better learn other tools.

Yeah, iWeb isn't great. I did my POLYGAMe site with it, basic as:

    www.polygame.co.nz

You can get pretty decent results if you muck around a bit (I didn't) but it's slow, limited and only works properly in Safari.

I recommend you take a look at Wordpress or Blogger. There are heaps of plugins, add-ons and templates if you don't have time to do your own design.

My blog uses Blogger.. http://minimalobjective.blogspot.com/ and my games site is standard html http://www.minimalobjective.com/

iWeb is just awful and while I have used it for certain things I couldn't say it was good, or that it should be used for anything important.

Wordpress is the way to go; especially if you care about SEO.

Freewebs.com is the simplest you will find!

I also recommend WordPress. It's awesome.

My site... http://photics.com ...was made with PHP, MySQL, WordPress, HostRocket and Artisteer. Some helpful links are at the bottom of my site.

Maybe I should write a book about making a successful blog.

yeah, depends what you want really. I have many many websites and would agree with others here that wordpress is very flexible to create all kinds of sites (i have it running a book review site, an html5 video streaming site, a news site and a blog).

For my games though I only saw that having a web presence was necessary under apples terms so I did a quick and dirty iweb number on stusapps.com I may upgrade it eventually for something else, but it'll do for now.
