Rolling Score DEMO- how to stop the rolling?

ive added the rolling score based on FMG rolling score demo to my game.. it looks great! thanks for sharing.
However ive run into something rather interesting being:
i have a level where you can cam the camera up and down screen size is 320W X 720H
and ONLY in this level does the score system not work... it works fine with the old default score with out the custom fonts..
I am wondering if it has to do with the rolling score and would like to turn that off but keep the custom font.. any idea on how i can do this?
