Do I still need my apple license?

I'm not using anything else but GS, so I might not need my apple dev license, but I don't know if I can still build the GS Viewer to my iPod 4g after the license has ran up. GS direct needs to hurry up.

    When GS direct is released GS will put up a app on the app store used for testing (probly the GS viewer) so if you plan to stick with GS I say wait and do not renew your apple licese...unless you still have a bunch of time left on your GS subscription?
