Prankstar was really just a throw together app... made about $40 and I made it free too. I made MV free because I want to release an update with new controls and performance increases etc. I wasn't happy selling it the way it was ;-) As it stands now, looks like I'll have to re-release under GS Direct instead of an update, so I'll have to add a little more to it and make it a semi-sequel ;-)
90% of that is from one app that was released in april. Until lately I have not been able to put much time it in to game development (I was writing a book).
I was not asking because I think it is all about money. I just think having this info from some of the successfully members is a HUGE inspiration to the rest of us.
I Love Game design. I love trying to produce something that might entertain someone somewhere. Something that can take the player away from the stresses of life even if it is only for a few minuets.
I love the competition of trying to bring something new and interesting to a platter that has been served up by countless others so many times.
Even so, I sometimes hit a wall and get discouraged. Putting thousands of hours into any project can become monotones.
Hearing these success stories really lights the fire under my A$# to get my project done.
