Opinion On Menu and Icon

Please help me out a bit here guys; Im working on a new game and Im not really skilled with graphics but I want to try and save some money by not using Ian. Check out my menu page and icon and tell me how you think it looks. Thanks in advance everyone and dont forget to give suggestions!

    I Like Them both, but will like to see game to see if they are adequate.

    As long as the icon and menu leave you wanting more thats good. Im not done developing yet but I will be sure to post more pictures.
