I need to be able to see the path I draw. Also with the waypoint example the object goes straight to its destiny. In my case I need the object to go in a circle if I draw a circle or from a line to a circle or whatever the form of the path that I draw is.

Thanks tshirt. Ok and if use the waypoint demo how can I make a line to appear touching point one and point 2 like to represent the path?

ORBZ has a great demo on how to draw a path here:

    Drawer ORBZAMPLE

I've experimented with following a path:

    Breadcrumbs (experiment)

However, beware of two things with this experiment:

    1. I haven't tried this on an iPhone so it might not actually work on a device.
    2. I used the interpolate behaviour. I vaguely recall that I used ten seconds to interpolate from the first point to the last. So, this works more impressively with long complicated lines :) If I had time to play with it, I might try using move to instead or change the interpolation time from ten seconds to, for example, one second.

There may be a way to combine ORBZ's demo and mine to achieve the effect you want.

    Cheers!

Jack... Again... you scare me. I have a question, you have a demo...
    Weird...
    Thanks... but weird

    Yeah, weird.

I've tried different ways to make Breadcrumbs (experiment) work but I'm out of ideas.

However, this might be something that ORBZ can do. He's created some pretty amazing solutions for things. If this is an important part of your game, you might want to consider hiring him. (Check out ORBZ Logic and Math Services).

    All the best.

When I first started out in GameSalad, I found that the best way for me to learn was to just jump into a project. I took problems that people had in the forums and tried to find solutions for them. By doing this, I've created a small collection of demos. I also study the demos that other people publish.

I have some programming knowledge but I'm not a professional by any stretch of the imagination. So, there will be problems with the demos that I put up. I've tried to be honest and point these out whenever I can.

However, as imperfect as they are, I still think that there's a bit of value to my having these demos up. Perhaps they might get someone to think of the problem in a different way and maybe they'll eventually come up with the final solution.

So, it's weird that I had demos on hand to answer your questions. But, it's more weird-coincidence rather than weird-supernatural :)
