how do i use alpha channel

hi, i'm having trouble to get my actor cropped so it wont show the white area around it, please help, thanks in advance

    Use preview and open the window big enough to show the select button and click the arrow on it and select alpha. Then click hold and move around the mouse and red will show up. Then push delet and save it as pgn file.
