having 2 problems...

first, how do i get a backgound image to stay put, when my actor is moving side ways and the camera is following him?

and second, how can i get my actor to keep falling when it is moving. the problem is, that when the actor moves the gravity seems to stop.

Using the move behavior on your actor will cause it to ignore gravity. Rather use the "accelerate" behavior to have the object move and obey gravity at the same time.

thanks Corella, i tried using accelerate and my actor, just stands still, but it does get the animation going, strange

thanks tshirt, i tried unchecking scrollable, but it just stays put, i need it to go with the camera

maybe it's because i'm using gravity, and have to uncheck movable, it does not move, aaahhh!!! can i send you my file, and could you help me out with this? i want to have a background and my actor respond to gravity as well as movement
