The Game
jBall
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jball/id380362717?mt=8
jBall is a crazy physics-based 2D platform. In this game you control jBall, a kind of ever burning plasma ball, through 6 levels(More in future updates) full of platforms, ropes, swings, vehicles and lots of other weird structures. A bit tricky at first but lots of fun once you get the hang of it!
also if the marketing person has a pro license tell me that in the email to.

BTW, I always forgot, how you put images form Imageschak Like you did?
Wich is the Link you need to Paste?
Thanks.
It looks like there's an interesting game in there, but people aren't going to click on your icon particularly as it's not really visually appealing (compared to the thousands of other icons out there).
And even if they *did* click on it, the screenshots really don't sell the game. I mean, is that yellow blob on the right a door or something? I can't tell!
Believe me, I know from experience just how valuable good art is. My first games didn't sell at all because of it. I would invest in an artist.
Hope that helps, great that you've got an app out, and good luck!

From our experience, on average a free game gets around 1000-1500 a day on it's first few days, and if it can sustain that, and start to rise in the ranks, it should keep doing similar numbers and better.
If it can't sustain that, it will start to drop down the ranks, and eventually do around 50 a day on average.
Have not downloaded your game yet, BUT.... (and this aint gonna be pretty I'm afraid, so brace yourself...)
"you never get a second chance to make a first impression"
Your screenshots are fairly bland looking, don't really tell me much about the game, and don't really make me want to download it.
Your icon, whilst nice and simple etc, is again pretty bland, and also tells me nothing about the game.
From the additional shots you posted in this thread, your graphics are bland and uninspired. Coupled with the use of obvious stock royalty free graphics (your gemstone etc), and again, really don't make me jump at the chance to go and download your game.
So you can see, my first impression of your game, is that it going to be dull and uninteresting....and this is before I have even read your description, or any of the customer reviews you have.
The game could be the most fun I can have with my pants on.....but you haven't given me the impetus to download it and find out.
Also, remember you are competing for my time (as a punter) with thousands and thousands of other games.
Sorry if that's harsh, but it's better to give an honest opinion (for your sake) than to kiss your arse.
In a nutshell, I don't think it's marketing you need help with, you just need to work on your game's design more than you have.
This is all just my opinion of course, and I'm sure more of the peeps on this forum will give you some pointers too.......but we can't make your games for you ;o)
On saying that, there are some great people on this forum who can do graphics, and music etc to help you achieve that final polish that you need to stand out on the app store (even with your free games)
Try not to take my points in a negative way, they are not meant to discourage you...and I certainly don't pretend that I have all the app store answers....but I hope you can take something from what I have said, and use it to your advantage.
