What the heck is with this "nerf" business?

Did I miss something?

Browsing the forum tonight I've seen literally 20+ posts where random words have been changed to "nerf".

To be a stereotypical Australian from an older meme "WTF, M8?"

Be curious to see when I post this if any text not in quotes comes up as "nerf".

(If not and you think I'm nuts, check the Halloween app thread. There's a bunch in there.)

    a Lot of Post has the world Nerf, like if someone overwrite it.

    I was wondering the same thing. Even a member's name comes up as nerf check thread on main page called "List of everything I need to submit?"

    Profanity filter test... obvious fail. It has been remove. No more nerfing.

    I nominate the word "smurf" to replace "nerf." The TV show did it for every adjective.

    Either that, or "frak" from Battlestar Galactica.

    Odd, but nice to see yellow posts. Two different in one thread, no less. ^-^;

    Good to know it's been fixed and I wasn't out of the loop on some new trend :P

    Better go get some sleep, need to fix my nerfing hours.

    Maybe if you released DIrect you wouldn't have to worry about profanity...
