help with colliding objects

Hi there: Trying to make an object swings like the pinball bumpers... problem is if I do it with animation ball always collide with the outside square of the shape so collides long time before gets to the bumper... Im using photoshop to draw the bumper and saving it without bakgroung but doesn't work... any idea...????

gamesalad only supports two collision models, square and circle. By default square is selected. You're going to want to make sure the ball is set to circle, and the bumper is set to square. Try to have as little empty space on the bumper as possible, make it square like.
