Image background white to clear

Wondering is there a way to make an image background clear if it has a white background?

    What magic wand? For which image softwares?

    Download pixen, it's free and it has a magic wand (looks like a tool with a sparkly thing on the tip), select the background with that tool, and hit delete, it should do the trick

    To check if it worked, in Pixen they have template backgrounds that have grey stripes or checkered board, if they appear in the background when you click on those as the background template, you are good to go.

    It worked with pixen and it left a little white so I fixed it even more and is perfect.

    Yeah now having the "power" to change the background brings a whole new view.

    I love all the things I've learned just from using GameSalad, not just from a programming perspective, but now I can use programs like Pixen and Photoshop, always great to learn how to use these programs!
