problem with constrain attribute

Hello,i am new comers!
i am recently studying a method of scrolling image and i found out a method called constrain attribute.
Which is when position x move to a number it constrain back to the start point.
i am studying the template of "Stormtrix" which is a ship and a infinity scrolling sea.
the truth is,it is not infinity!When long time past out u will see that some spaces appear between the scrolling picture, the connection broke. This heappen to others similar templates too.
My question is:
1.Why should i use this method instead of wraping the X?Juz because it is more complicated? (i am new,i really dunno the advantages difference between each of the method)
2.Unluckily,when i trying to do this "constrain"method by myself, i cant make the image constrain back to the end point of the last image.Everytime the image move out of the screen,it just gone.nothing happen.
