Record Sounds That Have Been Played? The Play it back to Yourself?

I have an app that plays sounds, i want there to be a "record button" when the user clicks that and begins enabling the sounds i want it to record what is played , and then it will repeat after the person has clicked it

Anyway i can do this in GS?

    Nope. I doubt anything like this is anywhere on the horizon either.

    by record do you mean play back the same sounds that are in the app in a user defined order?

    This could be done with a bunch of attributes but would probably be easier with arrays.

    Not really, you could string together a bunch of small sound effects, but it will not be seemless... No good way to do this currently.

    Here's an idea that would work very well. Saving it would be harder, but at least replaying after recording it would be easy. You have an actor (when play is pressed) move slowly from left to right across the screen for a set time. If for example you were playing an onscreen keyboard, then when you press the key, the moving "play" actor would drop another actor with the note pitch attached to it. So when you stop and hit play again, the bar will go back through and when it collides with all the actors, it will play the corresponding "pitch". Pretty simple, but saving a song would be difficult unless you made it possible to write and save 100 notes.

    I just need a simple playback button , but I don't get what you are saying?
