edited November -1 in Working with GS (Mac)
as I told before I am working on a great game project for over a year ( alone ) and it´s almost completed...but after I saw the new GS direct system I went to new horizons ( Unity ) not to waste my time with a tool that no ones knows where it´s going. I ported my game in less than a week using Unity ( as I am very skilled in coding JAVA + C ++) and now it has a simple pause control ( beaultifully Implemented ) that pauses even particle FX the music and continues from where it was paused. The speed of the game is AWESOME never put so many spawn objects in a game and play it on an ipod 1rst gen SO Fast!! but the main problem from unity is it´s price to use your splash screen $1500 pro engine USD + $1500 pro iOS pack or you could just buy the $400 USD iOS basic and use the free unity pack to make awesome games too...but with their splash screen. As I have my great game on both engines and I am waiting for the Gamesalad team new subscription system I will wait for this week and choose which is best. It seams also hat the Unity team has Union ( a system that they put your game on other devices and take 20% from the sales and the rest is ours) great system for people that want to develop for Nokia for example.

Well I leave my choice in your hands Yodapollo!
If you see what I have done in your tool you would be proud of me for sure ^_^ !!

    " Neverbe "
I already developed games using torque , GML , unity, java , C and delphi.I have more than 15 years of coding and networking in science computing.
But if you wanna know how to make games in unity using 2D they have plent of tutorial resorces for their users on their homepage. Their link above:
    For iphone:

    and for 2D gameplay:

It´s really easy because it´s java, C sharp and Boo script.

well for me it´s REALLY EASY!!
in unity you have rigidbodies(is kinematic) + colliders ( istrigger)
with this combination you can make the collisions PERFECT!
In GS sometimes the collision don´t work from nothing, but in unity as you put 3D models in orthographic cameras and put the 2D textures in one of the 3D planes oyu collision NEVER fails...it´s soo easy to make a zoom in and out , to pause, to rotate ( with only a persistent object with a 6 line code on a update function) and you can make animation trasitions to change a scene from another one ( like cutscene to in-game) It´s really powerfull. But then you ask me " why do you care for GS? anyway?" , because GS it´s simple, a little faster than using unity, and depending on the new price it will let me put my splash screen and iADS.
So come on Yodapollo I am with my software here waiting your final words!! My father is making a cancer treatment and I really need money to help him( he is retired and the salary here is not that good for this kind of treatment) that´s why I wan to to help him!!
you will all LOVE this game it´s a spece shooter game with lots and lots of FX and animated backgrounds!!+ accelerometer + joypad + touch and autofire!!
