Hello Dnd Studios,

Thank you for submitting e-Pig Demo to the App Store.

We've completed the review your app but cannot post it to the App Store because this seems to be a pre-release version. Apps that are in beta form, or that are for demonstration purposes only, are not appropriate for the App Store and are not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines <https://Dnd Studios.apple.com/appstore/resources/approval/guidelines.html>:

2.9 Apps that are "beta", "demo", "trial", or "test" versions will be rejected

We have included the following additional details to help explain this issue.

Please remove any references to "demo", "trial", "beta", or "test" in your application description and within the app.

If you are interested in conducting a beta trial for your app, Ad Hoc distribution is available to broaden your test user base. To share your application using the Ad Hoc distribution, go to the Provisioning section of the iOS Provisioning Portal, select the "Ad Hoc" radio button, and complete your Ad Hoc Distribution Provisioning Profile.

Additional information on Ad Hoc distribution is available in the iOS Dnd Studios Program User Guide: <http://adcdownload.apple.com/ios/ios_Dnd Studios_program_user_guide/ios_Dnd Studios_program_user_guide__standard_program_v2.7__final_9110.pdf?>.

If you have any questions about this response, or would like to discuss it further, please feel free to reply to this email. If you would like to appeal this review, please submit a request to the App Review Board at <http://Dnd Studios.apple.com/appstore/resources/approval/contact.html>.

We hope you'll consider resubmitting once your application is finalized.

Best Regards,

iOS App Review Team

Yeah. You can get a demo on as long as you don't use the word demo. See Epic Games' Epic Citadel. That was clearly a demo to show what their engine could do and to hype their upcoming game. Pretty funny because Steve clearly knew it was a demo when he talked about it. Yet, since they did not use the word Demo within the app (and because it was so cool) they had no problems getting in on. Funny thing is, I am pretty sure Epic advertised it as a demo as well.
