Hi, it'd be nice if, when holding down the command button for instance, and clicking on an actor in the Scene Editor, a tooltip appeared with the name of the actor. The reason being, if you've a lot of similar actors with different names, or when clicking on alpha 0 actors, it'd be quick and easy way to identify.

    I agree gyros...

have learned go up to where it says: Inspector [Game][Scene]
and click [Scene] and then grey arrow next to 'Background' to see a list of your Actors in that layer with their names there...you can click in the SceneEditor on an Actor and that one will be highlighted in the list...or click the name (for an Alpha=0 actor) and the handles will show in the SceneEditor.

Ah, good one MH, thank you. I've been double-clicking to check the name in the Actor Editor; your way is a bit quicker, for certain. :-)

I think something as simple as just holding command while hovering over objects would be better. or displaying the names of EVERY actor on the screen at once. For me, going through the scene inspector is annoying and unorganised even with layers
