Tax Question: Any Canadian Devs on here?

Other than me and Tshirtbooth? I'm wondering if any of you had to get a GST number in order to fill out the ca_form_GST506.pdf form in order to get paid in Canada. I just got the email from Apple stating I need to fill out this form with a GST # in order to get paid.

    I did too - unless your a official business just fill in the form as Apple specifies - you would be an independent or individual dev so you wouldn't have a GST number but I think they have to keep a record that they charged GST in your name and you need to claim that in your taxes.

    I sent mine in got it backed stamped and that should be all (course haven't been paid yet since I haven't made enough sales but that's another issue;)

    I did it as well. Filled it out, mailed it in, got it back, and now it's in a file :)
