GUI improvements. Resize handles, snapping etc.

Alright, so 0.9 is out, and it's all very nice. One thing, however, that I was hoping for, was GUI improvements.

1. The resize / rotate handles on an actor MUST go! I cannot stress this enough. It's more common for (well at least me) to move an actor, than it is to resize it. I want a toggle for that, so I can move around my actors without accidently rotating them or, god forbid, scaling them. And speaking of scaling... if I have an actor that's less than, say, 10 pixels in height, and I want to make it longer (an empty actor with only colour, for collision purposes), then when I grab one of the handles to scale it in X it resizes my actor automatically! And there is nothing I can do about it! Once it has been resized, I can't scale it back to less than what looks like 30 pixels or something.

Try it for yourselves... Create an actor that's 100x10. Drag it out on the canvas (is it what it's called?) and try making it longer. You'll see that it instantly resizes it, and there is no way (except double clicking it and setting the values by hand) to fix it.

2. Snapping and grids. Seriously, it's a must =)

3. Viewing assets in list views and grouping them / putting them in folders.

4. Don't reset the layout! If I resize the Inspector to make more room for the canvas, and I preview my game.. when returning to the editor everything is back the way it was. The same with the whole Gamesalad window and the annoying help (sure, it's good when starting out, but I'd really much rather enabling it than always having it there). It's probably a different question if you're on a 27 inch, but I'm on my lil' 13 inch MBP =)

5. Perhaps not in the GUI department, but I would really like the option to turn of filtering of actors when they are resized. Let's say I want to do a game with retro graphics... large pixels and all. It would be great to use a 16x16 large image and blow it up to 32x32 or even 64x64 and letting it stay sharp, thus saving storage and probably memory aswell.

6. A coordinate "manager", where one can type in position, rotation and scale of an object would be great aswell.

All in all, thanks for a great program that can be even greater.
