they did lot of fixes. But the server switch over had to be live. Remember that there are only a hand full of beta testers, not everyone has the same box and specs. so there will always be issues with a launch. But its the weekend and there there working. they will get it fixed
Hey Gendai folks, regarding the publishing system...
One thing you should account for is if publishing fails (as it's doing now), there doesn't appear to be any way to save the entered app data. Creator should have a means to save one's publishing data so the data doesn't need to be entered repeatedly until the publish action succeeds.
You need to edit the info data in the actual editor to. In the description and tag boxes on the main screen. Otherwise, even with a successful build it forgets it for next time!
Thanks gazjm. But unless I'm missing it, there's nowhere in Creator itself to enter the large icon, the screenshots, the version number, etc, so the publishing process either needs to automatically save your entered data (ideal), or it needs to provide the option to save.
ah right, I thought you meant the description etc. After a successful build, my icon was saved, had to change the provisioning profile and set the catagories tho.
Hmm. I still can't get a file to upload, but after quitting and restarting Creator, it seems to be pulling down the publishing info I entered from Gendai's server, so data is apparently being saved. Yay for that :-)
