JUST UPLOADED MY APP.

I really am enjoying GS 0.9

the new splash screen is pretty nice, but i would have had my own . BUT HEY EVERYONE WANTS MONEY IN THIS WORLD!!!! SO YOU SHOULDN'T BLAME GS

Dont get me wrong theres a lot of work to be done but , the new speed, the revolutionary design, and feel.

Says the game salad creators have put a lot of work into it.

SO STOP WHINING AND BE GRATEFUL THEY SENT AN UPDATE OUT!!!

    I'm also happy with the update and the pro offer for existing customer( just upgraded to pro). But They should been clear that the pro version now has the splash screen.

    After testing my latest game, I'm averaging an extra 7 fps on a 3gs, so Im up to 54-55 on average. I'm happy with the update!

    But there is a difference between ripping off both sides and making compromises.

    Thank you! I really dont get it. First off most the people that are complaing just joined this week and never put a app out anywhere. Thats besides the fact that we can keep name as the publisher. The splash screen isnt on your itune store link obviously, its after you already purchase the app. So do they really think someones gonna buy there game, see the splash screen, and automatically demand a 99 cent refund without even playing the game? Like come on now. If your games good, the 2 second splash screen wont matter at all.

    I am MUCH happier with this update, than the old GS direct only plan. This is a FAR cry from that!

    Not bought into the Splash screen either, but I think GS is on the right path, and this is a MUCH better option than what was presented before.

    I'm also happy with the update; seems much snappier. Only one thing though: the new project isn't working. The click "My Great Project" for the first time, do whatever, save it, then go to make another new project and that previous one will open only. Can't be just my copy of 0.9...

    I think this is important enough to get a quick fix on and "update the update" (rather than 0.9.1) would anyone else agree? (I've already posted in Tech Support so GS Inc are aware of the problem)

    I get the idea that GS Inc are run off their feet at the moment though...

    I am also happy with the update!

    Sure, I would pay 1999 for no splash screen but this one is way better than the old one so I can live with it :)
    Any plans to make a black or dark grey background?

    What I don't like is the new publishing system, it's too much work that you have to do twice, once there and onces in itunes connect. To be honest it looks like the system was designed for GS Direct but after that was thankfully ditched you guys didn't had time to build a new one or to go back to the old one.

    I still didn't had time to test for the speed improvements but from what I read on the forum they are significant so I'm very happy for these, hopefully our big game, Nightmare Escape will load in less than 20 seconds.

    I also like the new forum and main page, looks fresh but I think you should remove old stuff like these: http://gamesalad.com/wiki/faqs:gamesalad_membership_support#does_the_pro_version_exist - you don't need to dig much to get over this outdate info, only 2 click from the main page (faq -> does the pro version exist?)
