viewer error request timed out

every time i try to test on my phone thru the viewer it loads for about 5 min and then says request timed out.Ive been working on my first game for 3 months now and was waiting for the update to release it, now i cant even test it on my device?There has got to be a fix for this cause its unacceptable.

Bump anyone else having this problem cause my game is still not loading to test on my device and i have no idea how to fix this.Any help would be Greatly appreciated.

Yet another bump. Still can't test on my 3GS iPhone and yet I was able to load up fine on my buddies iPhone 4. anyway to fix this cause my game was about a week from being done and now after this update I can't even test it on my device. Not helping me to fall in love with the new update gamesalad.

I am having the same problem, sometimes works and other times doesn't. I am sure it is taking too long to send game to phone.

@THRSTN - I think I have come to the conclusion that the problem I'm having with the time outs is my iPhone. I just installed the GS viewer on my wifes iPhone 4 and it works perfect it also works on my iPad. I hate to say it but I think I'm going to have to restore my iphone then install the GS viewer and see if the problem is resolved. If it is I will then restore from a backup and hope that it doesn't break the GS viewer again. I will probably do this within the next 24-48 hours I'll let you know what happens. What a pain in the ass!!!!!

Dude let me know if that works and it does sound like a pain in the ass work around. I even tried what you said about making a local wifi from the Mac to my phone and nada happened I just wish one of the head chefs or even a sous chef would try to takle this problem. All I know is it's pissing me off and is a horrible sales point to upgrade to pro even if it has iads. Until it has in app purchase I can't see the benefits.

NO MORE TIME OUTS!!!! I fixed my problem but not without a lot of work. Here is what I ended up doing. I restored my iPhone from within iTunes and setup as a "new iPhone". Then I opened the GS Viewer in xCode (make sure you have the latest version released a couple of days ago) once xCode is opened click "Window" and then click "Organizer" select your iPhone and click "use for development" as long as you have setup everything for the device within your developers account on apple.com this will automatically download everything you need and install it into your device. Next in xCode clicked build and run this installed the viewer to my iPhone and now when I preview games from GS Creator on my device it loads fast and works every time.

After upgrading xCode if you get the Missing SDK error in xCode go to "Projects" then "Edit Projects Settings" and under the build tab look/search for Base SDK and change to iOS 4.2

I did try to restore my setting to my iPhone after restoring the first time and realizing that GS viewer was working. After restoring from backup the GS viewer instantly STOPED working, so if your problem is the same as mine you will have to start with a "freshly" restored iPhone. I was able to reinstall all my apps from itunes, so make sure in iTunes you "Transfer Purchases" before doing the restore and manually backup any other info you need to keep. The worst part of having to restore my iPhone and losing all my setting was setting up all my folders after reinstall all my apps other then that not to bad. I'm just glad I can use the GS viewer again to preview my games.
