GS 0.9 Splash Screen Suggestions

Just made a build with the new GS 0.9 to examine the new splash screen.
I understand from a business point of view that Gendai need to have this, and I like the "POWERED BY GAMESALAD - FEED YOUR INNER GAME DESIGNER" strapline with the new sound bite etc.
However, I find the white background a bit harsh, it looked much better with the old black background. Is there anyway we could have an option to choose either a White or Black version of the GS splash intro when making our app build, so we can choose the version that better suita our apps?
For me, my app launches out of the natural BLACK screen of the iPhone UI into the harsh White GS splash and then into Black of my app again! - Just a thought!

I've said it before, REMOVE the tag-line, and you'll have the best splash screen.
just white for 5-10 sec....uggg......
My suggestion to the hardworking GS TEam:
1. fade from black to the current GS splash on white - show something
2. load first static GS splash on white....then load / play current anim when it loads
3. just have a static GS splash screen load fast......
Also saying "game" limits all other content...meaning what if I want to make a book? I think
they are losing many future customers by saying "game" in the splash....
Otherwise it's cool...

The 2 apps I have in the store are definitely not games, even though making games was the original drew me to GS...
Suggested options...
Black Background / White Background
Tag-line / No Tag-Line
The trouble with a splash that is too long is that players will get irritated, blame the game designer and download something else. Shorten the splash, put in a more info button and Bob's your uncle, everyone is happy.
GS is a great tool and I want to advertise for you, but give us a break on the splash screen.
Also I couldn't get an answer; is it legal to replace logo animation mp4 file in the .app ?

seconds....they should change it to show the logo after .5sec? Make use of you brand space...!!
But again many apps are NOT games, so saying game twice (in the logo) is kinda' weird....

Microsoft made good/free development tools by listening to their developers. It does not take much to make many GS devs happy so lets see christmas come early :-)

I preferred to pay some than look like a total amateur to my users -
This is headed the wrong way.
Good point, Zidware - many people wish to make more than "games"
(in my case, sound and visual apps)
so it is somewhat awkward to emphasize the "gameyness" of it too much
A user uploads their own logo when building which will be inserted alongside the GS logo. Something like X studio, and underneath/to the side - created using GameSalad.
"Powered by: Insert logo here"
That way GameSalad's name is out there, but doesn't scream of amateur. Building a brand with the hokey-ness of the current slogan will be hard, but not impossible.
I think the "Powered by" or something similar is a more digified solution.
My current project - A mostly black and white "design-y" game
after a colorful, happy intro? ;-) Oh joy!
read the new version features:
Including an intro MOVIE in each app? Waste of memory, a still is enough.
All of these "brand" focused updates, and we're still missing
many basic gaming functions.
For those of us who paid last year:
can we still export our apps and sell them the old way?
(on our own pages)
I'll enjoy this year while I have it, and not update my apps afterward.
Corona doesn't directly compare because it costs more and is harder to code.
That said, it does 3d and way more other stuff.
