"Replicate" hides actor behind others!

Good day
So I've been playing around with Gamesalad for quite a while now, but never used the "replicate" function. I added this to my newly started GS 0.9 game, but it doesn't seem to work. Well, the image replicates, but gets hidden behind everything (the background-image, other characters, etc.). Even the original image that I want to replicate disappears. If I move the image away, it works. And if I remove the "replicate" attribute, the one image I put it the scene is also shown...is there something i need to know, or is this a GS 0.9 problem?
btw, I moved that character I want to replicate all the way to the front, so that can't be the problem.
thank you for your help!

this is the link of my issue

I hope they find the issue. I just created a brand new project, put in a background and added an actor on TOP of it. preview the game and the actor on TOP is shown in front of the background. All good.
NOW add "replicate" to this actor and preview the scene again: the actor plus his replications disappear behind the background...
Then I moved the background away a little and the replicated actors are shown...
there really seems to be a problem here. if anyone has 2 spare minutes, could you please check this out and see if you get the same error?
Thanks!

EDIT: Just tested & you are right. I didn't notice it, b/c what was in front of my replicated actor was part of my HUD.
*Bug has been reported.
I fixed it by adding a new layer called "lives displayer" with the lives displayer in it, in front of the original layer.
