0.9.0 wont install

When I open up 0.8.9 and update, after it downloads and I click install and relaunch it closes, then an error pops up saying the application closed unexpectedly and has the opetions to ignore or relaunch and when I click relaunch from that it just opens that same error again. I tried downloading the 0.9.0 dmg and installing it that way too. Anybody know why its doing this? thanks.
