Are these instructions still the same to install GS Viewer .9.0?

http://gamesalad.com/wiki/developing_for_iphone:building_gamesalad_viewer#how_do_i_install_the_gamesalad_viewer_on_my_iphone

I'm having problems with games loading and want to make sure I installed it properly.

The worst part is somehow it installed correctly on my iPad and works fine. I installed the iPhone and iPad back to back and all I did was open up the project in xcode select device and Build and Run. Very strange that one works and the other doesn't. Unfortunately I'm working on an iPhone app at the moment so the iPad working doesn't help. I'm almost to the point of restore my iphone and then trying the viewer install again, but I would rather not do that it is the last resort.

Make sure you log in on the creator, it happened to me yesterday.

I'm totally lost as to how to get the viewer at all. I had signed up with Gamesalad a few weeks back only to find out about the changes going on and not having the ability to do any publishing. So I've been waiting to get Gamesalad viewer so I could check out all the work that I've done.

Now the new version is here, I've logged in but I still don't see any option anywhere to download it. The Manage Publishing (which is where I was told to go) in the main menu of the program is greyed out so I'm not really sure what to do next. Is there another step for signing up with Game Salad? It looks like the free version is supposed to include the viewer according to the side by side chart...

The FAQ page still says this:
"Once you are a *paid* member, when you log in to the GameSalad web page, you should have a 'Manage Portfolio' button in the upper right near your user name."

The problem with this is that I'm under the impression that I don't have to be a paid member to do this anymore, and the Manage Portfolio button is no longer on the web page by my name any more

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. I've been waiting weeks to test out my app and I'd really like to get going on this.

@aracknor - I'm logged into the Creator it doesn't help the problem.

On the iPhone it eventually says connection times out. The GS Viewer installs to the iphone fine the problem is when I try to preview on the device while loading the progress bar moves very slow if at all then it eventually times out. However if I load the same app to my iPad it loads in about 20-30 seconds. Could it be an issues with iOS 4.1? The iPad is still on iOS 3.2

    @ Jonmulchay

I do see the following error in Xcode when clicking build and run, but once I disconnect the GS Viewer is on my phone so if seems as though it still installs to the device.

    ERROR in xcode:

Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate. (-19011)

@Moto did you change the bundle identifier from game salads to yours? I just changed that to mine and all worked. Only issue I have had is some times my game doesn't load when I've started the load from a particular scene(my 1st one logo page), I switch to another scene and try then it works.

@verta click on the main image on the game salad homepage, takes you to the about the product page, go down the page where it talks about testing the viewer download is there -note: you still have to be a developer with apple to get it to work.

That timed out message is the same problem I'm having too. I still have
My old viewer installed could that be causing the issue? Did you delete the old viewer first?

Yes you can't use old viewer with new editor. Delete from devices and re-install new viewer from Xcode

I finally was able to transfer my game from Creator .9.0 to Viewer .9.0 The only way I can get it to work is to create an ADHOC WiFi network on my MacBook Pro to my iPhone 4. This connects the iPhone directly to the Mac wifi. It was still fairly slow to transfer but it worked. However as I mentioned before I can transfer the same game to my iPad over my wifi network without a problem. This is a very strange problem and will be a pain in the ass if I have to do this every time I need to test an iPhone app, but at least I got it to work and can move on with creating games.
