Seriously lost and need help with getting my iPad ready

xyloFUNxyloFUN Member Posts: 1,593
I can not access the video (dead link) on how to set up my iPad so that i can start testing my app!
This is very very complicated and complex to do if one has never seen/done it!

I know that there are videos out there but if someone has a link to a tutorial that covers "what to do next after the signup stage is completed", I'd be very grateful!

Thanks :)

OK, I did some more reading and it looks like I screwed up royally!

When I plugged my ipad in, a pop up asked for access to my keychain ... which i denied!

I believe that this was wrong so now what?

Well, I got going after all!

But one thing I have learned by doing this:
"I will NEVER EVER again judge the price of software in the app store!"

Anyone who has to go through a sign up/verify process with Apple deserves to get payed +$5 extra per app!!!

Jikes, getting my device set up is harder than to make the application! BAD APPLE!

Yes it is quite daunting, but once you done it it's now imbedded in your brain!

I regret that i didn't make screenshots of all the steps i have done so far!

The existing documentation as provided by apple leaves a lot of room for improvement. If i had the money, I would NOT do this myself, it is very stressful and all the waiting ....
Feels like dealing with the Government!

    A new day ....
It was rough yesterday .... but, while i was frustrated with the enrolment process (which is quite complex) help was only 3 feet away :)
My bookshelf has a few books explaining X Code which, thanks to GS is no longer needed, but not only that, almost every book i have also has detailed instructions on how to get yourself set up as an apple developer and how to submit your work.

I wish i discovered that earlier! LOL

Anyway, it's all good now ... the creative juices are flowing again and the salad tastes good!
