You may be interested to know that I just got the new wired magazine! (not the best part :P) The front cover is of TRON :D UK issue so hopefully a bump in sales :)

    Heh - you never know!

The update has yet to be approved, and we've just finished *another* update that adds a better tutorial and tilt controls. Hopefully we'll be able to add more levels too around Xmas time.

And then we have Gravitrixmas, which we're hoping to submit soon - it looks very different!

    Cheers,

    QS :D

just left my Canadian review. I thought i did this last week but i guess it slipped me.
Hope its doing well my friend.

    cheers

Thanks for that tshirt - unfortunately it's not doing well at all really.

    None of my games do!

But I can look back on the last year as a massive learning experience. It's been a lot of fun, and I have eight games on the app store.

Two I'm a bit ashamed of if I'm honest, but I was just starting out, so I forgive myself for them! Four had some nice ideas, and the last two I'm extremely proud of!

    I can live with that!

This was my colleague Jake's first iPhone game, and I think he's being very practical about it. We're holding off on marketing till we have the latest update submitted and approved.

We also have two or three games that use the Gravitrixx 'engine', and hopefully the time invested in this game will pay off in future games.

Regardless of sales, it's been 100% fun :D

    Bought it :-P
    Let's see, what you can...

    EDIT:
I tried it. Nice game. Gratz.

    Bugs:

When I start the game on iPhone4 with iOS 4.2.1 I get a fullscreen quantumsheep logo for a tenth of a second, then the sheep becomes very small (maybe 100x100) and will be placed on the right border in the middle (vertically).

Then it is there for a few seconds and then the fullscreen sheep appears again.

    INGAME:

I can clearly see the "invisible" layers on the borders, where the touch occurs.

First I didn't understand, why there is a much brighter square in the middle, then I realized, it's because there is no layer, which "blures" the background.

I don't think it is willingly visible. I can see, where they overlap and they even change "color" when I touch them.

Sometimes a blue line appears on the right and bottom border, which I thought may be some kind of life bar or something, but it has clearly no function.

And NO, I don't talk about the time bar, which shrinks.

@Hunn - Update ... the new version fixes the splash screen prob. I updated today and thats now fine. As for the borders, i think they're supposed to show up when you hit them arent they?
  • HunnenkoenigHunnenkoenig Member Posts: 1,173
    Ah ok...

It is strange, because if I bought the game the first time, I assume, there was an update already... why didn't I get just the updated version?

    EDIT:

    Really! Everything fine now.

Thank you, Jack! I'm assuming this was you? : "Don't be surprised if you learn to control gravity only to let time slip away!"

    That's awesome! :D

    @Hunn

Wow, dude, thank you for buying it!

The bugs you found (apart from the border -which isn't a bug!) were known issues and as Beefy says, have been fixed in the update :D

As soon as GS fix the Splash screen stuff, we'll be submitting another update with:

    Optional Tilt Controls
    Better Tutorial
    Direction indicators

We're also working on adding a few more levels, in yet another update, hopefully by Xmas.

Although it hasn't really sold well enough for us so far to justify this extra time on it in and of itself, both Jake and I love the game. Also, these additions will help us improve the 'engine'.

Then there's Gravitrixmas, which, thanks to Ian at Debug Design, looks lovely. Even my parents like it!

So we're not giving up on it. It's a solid foundation for future games!

I have more promo codes thanks to the update, so if anyone wants one, let me know via GameSalad mail, and I'll see if I can send you one!

Thanks again everyone for the kind words.,

Gravitrixx looks great, I will download it tonight. Big hugs back - I have no idea what hug a gamer day is, but I'm sorry i missed it - I will make a mental note so not to miss it next year.

    Big cheers!

And today I wake up to see that Gravitrixx is in 'What's Hot' in its respective categories (Puzzle and Action).

This may have more to do with us dropping the price to $.99 rather than the review though! ;)

Thanks to everyone for their support!
