Need quit now?

Now that iOS 4.2 is out to include multitasking on iDevices, does that mean we really need a Quit behavior now?

    Wow, yeah, I hate that my apps don't quit. Although, I think it works for GameSalad. It means they don't have to sit through the splash/loading screen when they want to play again later... if they don't restart their iOS device.

    You can quit out with the obscure combo... home button, double-tap the home button and then hold the app you want to quit.

    hi Photics; so the obscure combo: is that like a special Big Mac with carrot fries? ;-)

    Seriously, thanks for that info, I never knew that. I'm guessing it'll work on the iPad as well (which I'm aiming to buy as soon as the next gen comes out next year....hoorah!!)
